Welcome to the HomeworkLouisiana site for educators. The State Library of Louisiana is pleased to bring this online after-school tutoring service to you and your students. The service offers a Skills Center which can be used from school by your students by going to: www.tutor.com/homeworklaskills
The one-on-one tutoring service is available from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Students may access this service from home or from their local public library ONLY. The State Library's license prohibits usage by students from school and from placing a link on your school's website directly to the tutoring function; however, you may link to the Skills Center using the above URL. Literati is provided to the Louisiana K-12 community through a partnership between the State Library of Louisiana and LOUIS, the Louisiana Library Network. Because of the negotiations of the State Library on behalf of public libraries and LOUIS on behalf of college and university libraries, K-12 also has access to over 600 online e-reference books in a variety of subjects. These resources may be used from school or from home.
With Pronunciator's Course Designer, educators can create custom language courses that leverage Pronunciator's content and functionality, and deploy the courses to learners via a simple password.
